OOOOH thank you for asking !!! ꨄ︎₊˚⊹ it's ... complicated. what initially began as a savior complex, eagerly bestowing immortality upon any ill who wished for it, eventually became something more akin to a god complex. beyond a certain point in her life, likely only a few years after being turned, cecily considers vampirism a PURPOSE for herself. a calling, a duty. not only has she 'saved' ( returned ) countless from death, but most of these people go on to find their purpose in loyalty to her. she's woven so much of her identity within vampirism that cecily feels she could NEVER RETURN to any semblance of 'normal' human life. does she want to grow old ? some days she craves it more than anything. she misses having a pulse. she misses her own body warmth. she misses being unknown & considered harmless. but no, she wouldn't give up vampirism. there's too much at ... stake. 😏😌
