I decided to update/redraw this piece.

I’ve never cared for the Monster High reboot, but I do think there’s potential in the new younger siblings. Instead of rebooting the franchise, I think Mattel should have created a spin-off series with them. My personal vision stars newly-created Alivia Stein, who at thirteen-days-old, enrolls in a brand new Monster Middle School. Alongside her are best friends Pawla Wolf (Clawdeen’s sister) and Fangelica (Draculaura’s niece and Elissabat’s sister.) Also included are Cleo’s younger twin cousins, Ghoulia’s little sister and Kelpie Blue.

The series would also feature parent characters not previously seen, including some as teachers. It would include references to the older MH siblings, but to avoid confusion, they’d never actually appear.

Monster High ankle biters lol. Truthfully I did not like these when they first come out as they appeared in the reboot which I was bitter about anyway and the fact that people had been wanting siblings for years so it seemed a bit too little, too late.

They’ve grown on me:) My only real complaint is they are hard to clothe, especially the werewolves; the splayed fingers on the other two are tough enough to maneuver through tiny sleeves but the massive paws of the werewolves make it near impossible (not to mention the paws looks stupid with their little spindly arms)! Fortunately Ebbie and Barker came with their clothes and ironically this hand-me down tee of Howleen’s makes a cute dress for Pawla:) Fangelica’s wearing a Kelly dress that had stretchy sleeves; nothing else I had fit or I liked. I might end up crocheting her a dress, especially if I manage to get her wings. At least I don’t have to worry about shoes!
