Who needs a knight in tarnished armor when you're one of the dragons now.. Lucrezia still has qualms with who she was before, she was very high strung and that led to her hurting some people who were very close to her, *coughcoughshesstillverysadaboutwhathappenedwithnigrumcoughcough* it literally meant she had to transform into a dragon (dragon gen) to dispel all her internalised anger and find her chill. But she had to reevaluate alot of her views and morals in the process, But hurray for personal growth :'D she's no longer a knobhead, she just hoards shiny things instead~ Anywho I was testing out my new watercolour pallet with this piece, looks decent, took a long time to finish though. I'm going to draw lots of ametrine next, want to do something serious because their anniversary was just under a month ago, but part of me also wants to draw them vegging out with popcorn in casual clothes, I really want to put Pioree in a jake the dog tshirt *shrug* we shall see, we shall see

2024 Update: Old Amber Art Study.

Still overall I'm getting more satisfied with the art style and looking over my timing. So big thanks to @gzsengelcrayons and @lead-piping-gen for their amber boys for my practice. With that said I can focus on the final product of my project so let's see how it all goes!

Well this took a while thanks to weather sickness but over all I’m ready to give folks a sneak peak of my Amber Art project. Which is a Engelbaum fandom project I’ve been working secretly on. I’ve been given some refs to use and while the main point of my project is one big illustration. I’ve had to practice drawing some amber fangens during this period to learn and better my skills in Illustrator. Which is challenging considering Gens in the Engelbaum fandom are white skinned. (And that’s a nightmare in AI!)

As such Here are some illustrations I’ve made for practice for designs Since I’m figuring out what’s the best method used for the final project. These two are Chibi fangens. which belong to puppyluver256 and @citrineaudacity. (To which both of you thank you for lending me these two for the amber project!)

The poses aren’t the best and there are some obvious mistakes. But I’ll keep these in mind for later.

One is a simple flat practice and the other is a gradient and shadow and lighting practice. Not a bad study in my opinion for illustration work. We’ll see how these two are handled in the final project. Till then thanks for the patience! For the others that lent me their gens for the amber project keep an eye out since I’m doing more Engelbaum work this week.

I was like two seconds away from uploading this before I remembered to add her eye markings. >> But I fixed it! :DD Sometimes when you are feeling ill it helps to focus on something. Like trying to figure out how folds work. Man folds are hard sometimes. But still, cutie patooties are never a bother to draw! ^^

There are the two I got done today. x__x Somewhere along the line it went from doodling to full fledged illustrations. But These were super fun to do, and thanks to everyone who came and hung out while I was drawing! <33 I will do the other requests soon.
