❝Let’s go party on the rooftop, underneath the sky.❞
[/he turns to the girl with a smile, giving a small nod] A party on the rooftop? Sounds like my kind of party.
"Augh! It hurts!"

He had seen the entire thing, having stepped out from the dance studio for a breath of fresh, cool, and crisp Autumn air during the short ten minute break he was given before he has to return to his class and resume teaching his choreography. The scenario had been harmless at first, really, as his eyes wandered down the sidewalk and curiously caught on to a couple of children running and playing. Their laughter filled the air, the two boys unaware of their surroundings as they pushed and shoved playfully at each other/
However, things soon seemed to take a turn for the worst, as they ran into a young woman and caused her to lose her balance, sending her tumbling to the concrete ground.
Eyes widen, and concern immediately crosses his features, contorting them with furrowed brows and a frown as he leaves his position next to the studio door and quickly makes his way over, crouching and examining her with the intent to help her. Her face, though, now that he has a better look, is one that is familiar, so with gentle hands, he offers one out to her, clearing his throat.
"Fang Hua?" He questions, though he knows it’s her. He remembers that they used to be acquaintances, or perhaps even what he could call a friend, during their younger years. After recently running into each other, though, it seemed that their contact hadn’t stuck. "What hurts? Look, the dance studio I work at is just over there. I can patch you up if you need it, yeah? Let’s just get you out of the middle of the street—"
People are walking around them, but he would rather not get her stepped on and cause further damage. He manages a small smile, hoping that she’ll agree to allow him to help her. “Call it a favor for an old friend, hm?”

Sitting on the bench in the park as she flipped through the magazine that she bought a few minutes ago. It was her daily ritual that she would do whenever she’s not busy from school or work. Feeling a presence from a male, who sat down beside her, his deep broad voice scared her just a tad.
She turned her head and met eyes with the man. “Just because one is by herself doesn’t mean that she is lonely. But if you want to talk, I’ll give it a go.” She nodded her head as she closed the magazine, placing it in her lap.
It wasn't every day that Ian had decided a stroll in the park would be fun, nor was it every day that he decided to approach a woman on a whim. He respected the thin line between being a gentleman and being one of those guys--you know, the pain in the ass ones that seem to be pushy and make not only the woman they're talking to uncomfortable, but everyone around them as well. Such a thing was difficult to work around, though he had always managed to get by with a gummy smile and polite charm.
And so, he sat down next to a fair skinned woman, hair shaping around a pair of generously pudgy cheeks (that, by all means, were far from unflattering) and her eyes settled down onto an open magazine. He hadn't bothered to inspect what it was exactly, though he didn't really care anyway. When he spoke, he was sure to let out a hearty laugh from the back of his throat, plump lips forming a warm grin. Her response hadn't much been unexpected, though he had been pleased to find that she offered to continue the conversation.
"I hear you, I hear you. Name's Ian. Lovely day, yeah?" He voiced out, having removed his eyes from her to glance up to a bright blue sky. He presumed there weren't many more days left in store, winter rolling in faster than he had expected. Soon, the sky would be just a little bit duller, and the life ridden trees would be a grim reminder of the many more weeks to come of a bleak scenery and bitter cold. However, it was rather warm for an autumn day--bright and lively. The wind blew at a gentle rate, rattling the beautifully crisped leaves over sidewalks and streets. He loved the sound they made rolling in the breeze.
