Do you have any Kevin Keller headcanon?? I love them!!
1. Kevin tried to visit Moose in the hospital several more times, but he kept having flashbacks to discovering him and Midge in the woods, bloodsoaked and terrified, and the memories were too traumatic and painful for him to cope with.
2. Kevin and Betty were childhood friends and grew up alongside each other and Archie and Jughead. When Kevin’s dad was working, Kevin would go with Betty and her family to different events, not because he really wanted to hang out, but because he wanted to be sure she and Polly had someone when their parents were being themselves.
3. Since his dad works odd shifts and his mom is away, Kevin is really skilled at all things domestic, from cooking to home repair. Alice Cooper exploits this to guilt Kevin into doing home repairs for her. When FP was in jail and Jughead was living in the trailer alone, Kevin made a point of bringing him homemade dinner so he would eat something other than burgers at Pop’s.
4. Kevin is still incredibly self-conscious about his body and doesn’t have much confidence in himself, hence his bulky sweaters. He also makes a point of not going to Pop’s at much as the Core Four, because he wants to avoid junk food.
5. Kevin isn’t especially religious, but Joaquin was Catholic and left him a religious medal before he went to San Junipero. Kevin holds it every night and prays for his safety.
6. Fangs gave Kevin his lion ring when they began dating, and Kevin wears it on a chain around his neck, hidden beneath his sweater but close to his heart (thanks to @ziggory for this idea!).
7. Kevin is a total daddy’s boy, and he and his father adore each other and would do anything for each other. They have a special hunting/fishing/camping trip they do together every year. Sheriff Keller refers to Kevin by “honey” and “sweetheart,” even though most dads don’t address their sons that way. Kevin always makes a point of cooking for holiday parties at the sheriff’s station, and he always has dinner waiting for his dad when he comes home from work.
