One thing I haven't really seen people talk about is that moment after Jax's abstraction, when Ragatha tells Pomni about her relationship with Jax and about Ribbit.
She speaks of those things and Ribbit especially, while mentioning that she doesn't remember very well, that her memory is hazy. Hell, it takes her a while to actually remember Ribbit's name.
I have two theories about that and I don't know what's sadder.
After Kinger, Ragatha is the person who has been in the circus the longest. Maybe that's a sign that she's losing her memory the way Kinger was.
Jax had made her promise not to mention Ribbit at all in his presence, after they abstracted, not even by name. Maybe she internalized it too much and she actually kinda erased her from her mind, wanting to be helpful.
