Good news! I just organized our little rural, conservative Southern town’s first-ever PrideFest, and it was a huge success! I was so nervous but everything came together perfectly and we were on the front page of our local paper with a lovely write-up! 😍🏳️🌈
I am so proud of you. Just think about the positive difference you made in the lives of every person who wanted to feel safe being who they are, celebrating their lives. You created a place for that to happen, in a location where it sounds like it would have been easier to just do nothing at all. You’re a rockstar.
