Posting the last thing for Pokemon Fankid Week a bit late today, but late is better than never. We can do anything we want today, and I want to put the focus on the good Professors Kukui and Burnet, or EternalHoneymoonshipping! (oof that’s kind of a mouthful) The anime gave us that lovely bit showing they’re expecting their firstborn, so here’s their firstborn... and secondborn. and Thirdborn. Lots of borns. Lots of Rockruffs. We’ll get to that.
Hina (18 y/o) is Kukui and Burnet’s firstborn, and has a lot of battle experience. She attended Melemele Pokemon School, completed the Island Challenge and won the Alola Pokemon League on her third try. After this, though, she decided to focus on her real passion: the Battle Royal. She works at the Battle Royal Dome on Akala as a battle promoter and presides over introductory Battle Royal bouts for children on weekdays. She is a formidable Battle Royal trainer, and her main goal is to finally beat the Masked Royal. As her father, he encourages her, but as her rival, he has promised not to hold back. She has already beaten her beloved sort-of uncle Ash in a Battle Royal, which earned her the nickname “Champion Crusher”.
Hina is very bubbly and enthusiastic, and also very levelheaded and almost frighteningly intelligent. Her first and main Pokemon is a Dusk Form Lycanroc, the eldest child of Ash’s own Lycanroc. Lycanroc is also the father of the Rockruffs owned Kukui and Burnet’s younger boys.
Ohia (11 y/o) is the secondborn, and makes his sister’s enthusiasm look like mild amusement. He is stoked to go to Pokemon School, stoked to do his Island Challenge, stoked to take his Rockruff on adventures, stoked about trying more Battle Royal training, stoked that his dad is the Masked Royal, stoked that his parents are both professors studying cool things... He’s just so happy with life and everything it has to offer to him. However, he is looking for even more - he wants to explore Ultra Space when he grows up.
Noni (8 y/o) is the youngest, and has a relaxed and positive attitude. Though he is very enthusiastic like both his siblings, he tends to be far more subdued in his reactions and comes off as a lot more laid back. He enjoys tinkering with gadgets and spends a lot of time in his mother’s research lab trying to make his own inventions. His own Rockruff is shiny, and he would like to understand the secret behind shiny Pokemon.
