took a stab at designing the original unova dragon / kyurem’s “complete” form i guess… i am definitely not a natural at fakemon but this was a fun exercise in creature design!

Fankid Week, Day 1: Pokémon Partner/Legendary

I’ll make a bigger post about this once I actually finish my ref sheet for the original dragon, but I recently revamped Osbert’s character concept a little bit based on some other Unova stuff I’ve been working on! The long and short of it is that he originally doesn’t plan on travelling like most kids his age, but shortly before he’s old enough to register for a trainer licence, some shit goes down which results in Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem fusing back into one dragon again. Said dragon becomes very attached to Osbert, and with his parents’ encouragement, he decides to take it on an adventure!

(I’d be lying if I said playing through Scarlet didn’t influence this storyline at all - I really liked the way SV incorporates the box legendaries and wanted to have a similar concept in the next gen verse, with a legendary just hanging out with the squad!)
