Fire on the fingertips...
Frédéric Chopin (1810-49) - Fantaisie-Impromptu in c-sharp minor, Op. 66. Performed by Luc Devos, Broadwood piano, ca. 1845.
Chopin - Fantaisie Impromptu in C# minor
I guess we all have to accept that there are things in life that can’t be explained. Like, for example, how 16 y/o me could pull off a pretty decent Fantaisie Impromptu when 24 y/o me absolutely fucking can’t
On the topic of concerts though, this was my collection at the prime of my music life. (There’s a bass clarinet in one of the cases under the recorders too but I decided not to get that out).
We also owned two electric keyboards. The keyboards and organ were the only things that weren’t ‘mine’. The saxophone and bass cl. were rented so I no longer have them, but I still own the rest.
For the majority of my teenage life I was determined to follow an education in music therapy and ended up doing languages instead so xD
Moodboard for Fantaisie Impromptu for that wonderful anon who never fails to make my day <3 I will finish this fic for you, I promise!
Why is it I’ve been waiting for the urge to write fanfiction since I finished exams back in May, and it all hits me when I start back at university in a week.
I hate you, brain, I really do.
(At least FI ch.7 is only a couple of hundred words off being finished for a Wednesday update!)
Not to jinx it but I’m aiming for a Wednesday/Thursday update for Fantaisie Impromptu.. Provided I get all my packing for uni done in time.
