HaladrielWeek2024 Day 1: Queen
What if sheād said yesā¦?
A rearrangement of Galadrielās theme, inspired by the structure and instrumentalization of Sauronās theme. Headphones recommended.
Sauronās theme starts with a string ostinato, followed by a three beat drum, and then the choir kicks in. I basically just copied that and rolled with it. The two-chord structure is really simple, so it gave me the opportunity to explore just how far I can push musescore when it comes to choir. Further than I thought, honestly.
HaladrielWeek2024 Day 2: Deception
A rearrangement of Galadrielās, Halbrandās, and Sauronās themes, symbolizing their gradual transition from companions to enemies. Old project, new execution. Video by @youwearfinethingswellwriter.
When I posted the first draft of this piece last summer, it was a skeleton compared to this version. The foundation is almost the same, but the orchestra is literally twice the size. More layers, smoother transitions, better sound quality. I've really learned a lot since then. (For fuckās sake, past self, use brass.)
To-cat-ata in B by sympawnies
I wanted someone to play it as soon as I saw it and they delivered

This is a REALLY weird poll but I have to know if I'm the only one who gets very affected by music itself (not just the lyrics or because you like the artist or because a song reminds you of something sad) so...
Have you ever cried for the following reasons:
Key change
Sequence of notes that hits you hard for no reason
That Particular Instrument Just Affects Me
Beat Drop
Other music thing (put it in the tags!)
Music doesn't make me cry for these reasons
pls reblog friends I'm so curious <3 <3 <3
I am Nothing; You are Everything - The Ballad of Halbrand and Galadriel
A musical retelling of Halbrand and Galadrielās storyline in The Rings of Power Season 1.
Lyrics: āI am Nothing; You are Everythingā by @youwearfinethingswellwriter .
turning this into a poll because i am just so beyond baffled right now.
have you ever participated in/been part of a fandom without reading/watching the source material?
yes
no?? what the fuck
A thorough analysis of Hope's Themes (and related soundtracks), and a couple of unexpectedly impressive hair flips thanks to the utilization of a tin foil tiara.
Piano tutorial and free sheet music available on main channel.
Hope's Theme on the piano.
Musescore doesn't really capture the melancholy of this piece, so... this is how it's supposed to sound, I guess?
Full tutorial + free sheet music.
A piano arrangement of āHopeās Themeā from Final Fantasy XIII, using āSustained by Hateā as an intro. I finally, finally finished it. I'm probably going to need it for a future project. Now I just have to find the strength to tackle his XIII-2 theme.
Okay, so this is admittedly one of the craziest projects I've ever thrown myself into. I did it, though. I broke down "Almighty Bhunivelze" from Lightning Returns.
37 minutes. 37. I can't believe I pulled this off.
If you've ever had questions about where's and when's and why's regarding "Almighty Bhunivelze", this is the video for you. The comment section has the entire list with timestamps for the cameos.
I finally did it. A breakdown of my beloved Caius's Theme, covering music theory, lyrics, general significance, and a lot of vibing and pseudo conducting.
