The phoenix is a legendary magical creature. They are renowned for their unique life cycle of immortality. When a phoenix knows it is near the end of its life it will create a nest of tea leaves, herbs, and sweet smelling barks. These nests are in the highest altitudes. Once completed the dying phoenix will ignite itself in flames turning its nest into a fragrant pire. From the ashes a newly regenerated phoenix chick will emerge.
Phoenixes have remarkable magical properties. Their feathers make excellent and powerfull wand cores.
