Divided amongst four distinct elements, the four planes can only be united by talented alchemists. Too bad our students are still in training!
Inspired by media like The Illuminae Files, Ouran HS Host Club, and Fullmetal Alchemist, planarposting is an ARG-adjacent blog-based narrative. Through several student blogs, the politics and identities shaping an elite university are explored in a modern-fantasy world. At its heart are themes of storytelling, grief, and the power of transformation.

Among them are ten whose path may first cross at Guild rush. As they shape one another's lives, they will shape the planes, and long-kept secrets may begin to come to light...
The Kings of the Four Corners have selected you as a candidate to potentially fill the illustrious and recently opened position(s) of Ace in their Courts. The Ace represents their home Court to the others and to foreign dignitaries, and acts as a personal protector. You will each be equally considered for the position in each of the four Courts, and at the end of a period of Time the decision will be made based on merits, skills, and knowledge of many kinds, assessed by Tests and Circumstance in a great Game.
The Courts are eager to welcome you into the Castle of the Four Corners as soon as possible.

Who broke the treaty first—Faerie, or the other side?
Skim: Treaty? Which one? There were seventeen.
The first was made in laughter. The second, in spite.
But the last one?
Faerie broke it, yes. But only because the Other Side never signed it.
The Archivist: The matter is... contested.
Historical accounts suggest Faerie violated Clause Three first,
but only after the Unknown Party breached the temporal seals.
Both sides claim justification.
Only one is lying.
(Unfortunately, we cannot recall which.)
