Virgo the Assassin. 

Only the zodiac’s ultra-perfectionist could be the Hitman. 

For all of the Earth signs I wanted a seasonal influence to the illustration - Virgo is August/September - and as she is often depicted, Virgo the Virgin is a harvester. Or here, a reaper, ft a scythe and freaky cool telekinetically controlled wheaty arrows. The imagery of the zodiac is a fascinating mirror of eurasian culture: the OG Babylonian BC maiden was hijacked a 1000 years later by europeans to resemble their Virgin Mary complete with angelic wings and a crown - a feature i had to include, alongside the open-hand gesture that permeates world religious iconography.
