Keep Looking Forward (or, Two Unideer Together) - I took a photo of some deer and I decided I really wanted to turn them into art. It turned into gentle affirmation art as I’ve been telling myself to look forward a lot recently.

She is inspired by leucistic muntjac deer.

Her mushrooms are based on bird's nest fungi.

Hope is a small deer, her presence like light breaking through the clouds. She moves with a fierce, joyous strength, navigating through tangled thickets with a dogged deftness. Her voice may be spoken over at times, but she calls out again and again.

She is part of a mismatched herd of eight mushroom deer that become protectors of an ethereal realm.

Finn and Myrren

We get introduced to Finn somewhere in the beginning of book 1, but we only see Myrren later on in the book. They're one of my favourite duos throughout the series! Their friendship is super sweet. 😊

A little backstory for them, Myrren was abandoned by his herd and left alone in the forest to die when he was only a fawn. Finn was six years old when he found Myrren alone and injured. He stayed with him until Finns mum found them and brought them back home. The two have been close ever since!

Fun fact: Myrrens antlers can glow a blue colour in the dark 😁
