So I was gonna write some stuff about Bart, but then I realized I had not put enough thought into how his whole thing translates to medieval fantasy, so. Cassie.

The castle, of course, was grand. The high walls that towered over everyone as they slowly filed into the castle, their horses quickly shuffled along into the stables, and guests moved quickly through the halls to their chambers for the night. Cassie was quiet throughout it all, watching, waiting, resisting the urge to touch everything and ask all the questions that began to fly through her mind, it was ‘improper’ to ask too many questions, at least as far as she understood it.

Of course, she had longed to be a squire, to one day be a knight, she was honored enough to come to such a grand event as this, so she didn't want to complain. It was just unfortunate the decorum that came with these events was stifling, she wished she could go back on the trail, ride with Diana and talk, then train as they usually did. But, the rest of the day was to be dedicated to rest, after their long journey. Though it seems that most of the entourage that came with Diana wasn't all that exhausted, but appreciated it anyways.
