Just finished up The Pariah by Anthony Ryan, book one in his Covenant of Steel fantasy series.  I enjoyed this book a good deal.  Young man who came from nothing who is destined for greatness.  Plenty of morally grey characters.  Prophecy.  Revenge.  I am looking forward to the next book in the series, and book 3 will be coming out early next year, I believe.  Thanks to @theminingengineer for introducing me to this one.
