Hello do you use a glass plate for rolling out inks. If not do you have a recommendation. I’ve put ink on a sponge and sponges my Lino blocks and that has worked but I DO have a roller just no. Surface thanks ok bye

i use a speedball metal bench hook! it’s got a bent edge on both sides so you can flip it either direction & it’ll hook on the edge of your surface so it doesn’t move when you’re rolling your brayer. anything flat, smooth & non-absorbant should work, but i bet in a pinch you could use a cereal box or something. i bet if you did a cereal box printed side out it wouldn’t absorb the ink as fast… big piece of plastic, glazed tile…. the world is full of possibilities…. people on reddit have scolded me for suggesting metal over glass to people before bc “it scratches” but i’ve been using mine for years with no issues lol. unless you’re really doing some crazy shit it’s not gonna get scratched enough to be a problem. and glass you either need smooth edges or to put tape on it & then it’s hard to clean. idk do whatever you want! but the bench hook is easy & cheap imo

Ok because I cannot keep having this conversation here’s an FAQs! No hate to anybody still asking these questions but i am so tired of having to answer them so i’m just slapping down an FAQ, makes it real hard to go through my inbox when it’s just the same thing over and over again

“Where can I read more about your AU?” the AU is currently being hosted on PASTRYDASH.COM any other supplemental information is also on both my blog and other socials!

“Can I use your art/designs/headcanons for reference/take inspo?” Of course :) I just ask that if my work is heavily referenced I’m credited. Other than that go nuts!!!

“Can I use your art as a pfp? can I use it for RP?” Totally chill with that, just credit me somewhere on your profile, if using my work for any RP’s please link back to my account.

“Am I allowed to write into your au or use your headcanons for my own au and writing?” of course! I don’t really own a headcanon and you’re allowed to pick and choose from my ideas and do what you want with them. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. As for writing into pastrydash, I heavily encourage it! as it’s an open project for anybody to participate! if you’re curious as to where your oc might fit in please don’t be afraid to shoot me an ask or send me a message on the pastrydash discord! i’d love to help you. :)

“Can I draw you fanart?” of course! If you draw any fanart please either tag me or use the #pastryfart tag so I can see it easier!!!

“Do you do commissions?” I do! I host all of my commissions on my KOFI, slots are closed as of now but I often announce any openings on my instagram and discord server. So check in whenever. <3

Being aromantic is fine. And if this were any sort of mainstream media, I'd just go "yeah" and fly with any interpretation. But Dani is personal to me. I know I joke a lot, but this blog's main content is just so I can see someone difficult and flawed like me be loved. Romantically loved. Intimately too. Even when they don't have a bubbly lovey dovey nature, or don't want sex, etc. They still have those feelings. Hope that makes sense.

I just like the comic and you keep working on that comic since you are doing a good job on this comic.

Because their debut had these outfits. Their debut appearance is at the end of Season 1. Three Gems and a Baby was what they looked like ~13 years ago. The first time we see them is after Garnet is destabilized. They've just reformed. That's basically what's happened here in the comic, except in the first episode of season 1 rather than the last.
