far shore
Aeronautics developed a bit differently on the Far Shore, owing to the layer of heavy air turbulence in the troposphere. It is practically impossible to fly conventional lifting bodies 10-15 km from the surface outside of the "windroads", narrowly-defined corridors of stability amid the chaos.
Hunting the Synodic Empire's windroad-riding airships at those altitudes, then, is both tricky and dangerous. For whatever reason, the best solution the Archers came up with is the Kestrel: a single-pilot dive-bombing interceptor designed specifically to ram its prey. Much like the bird which gave it its name, the Kestrel is able to soar under power above the turbulence layers and dive into the hapless ships plowing the airlanes below.
Technically the Kestrel can reach its operational ceiling from ground under its own power, but this will severely tax the engine and fuel reserves, so it is usually deployed from an aerostatic carrier airship, or dropped vertically from a very tall perch such as the summit of the Glorian Pharos in Litia.
Dang, guess we're talking about TUNIC again, huh?
Well. Spoilers under the cut! I suggest you play the game first so you know what you're getting into. But if you don't wanna heed this warning, so be it. Be free!
Volume 6 Ch. 12
been a little bit since i've given any new info about my game, so i should say something. i'm putting off working on it for now until my new pc comes, my current one is complete shit and i've lost files multiple times from it crashing (though i got a usb to back them up, so everything's still fine). i'll probably get some more screencaps to share as soon as there's enough new content to make a visually diverse post. i've completely redone the areas and assets i've shown previously, and the game looks a lot better now! also, i've finally titled it. it'll be called "I'll meet you on the Far Shore".
I guess that Hanako is going to risk himself just to expand Yashiro’s lifespan because of their ED video I’ve seen. Hanako hugging Yashiro might represent something that causes a fight about expanding Yashiro’s lifespan. Her fish leaving far shore (red side) might represent Yashiro’s lifespan extended because of Hanako. Then his hand was reaching in the far shore side might represent FAREWELL or DEATH.
