Stars have become important symbols to me ever since I got sick. I remember being in the desert, humbled by an endless sea of stars. To me, they’re guides, guardians, wayfinders, and glimpses of an ineffable mystery. It was a dream come true to learn stained glass at @johnccampbellfolkschool this past week. This is my favorite part of my final piece: a winter star in a midnight sky.
