Yesterday's Visit to Space aliens Grill & Bar in Fargo North Dakota
Well, the visit to Space aliens in Fargo went ok yesterday. There is room for improvement, but I'll start with the good. Please know that this is based on my experience, and people may have different or similar experiences.
✅ The good ✅
Didn't have to wait long to be seated
The restaurant was clean, and easy to navigate.
The server did good. When I went to the game room to wait for my meal, he found me to let me know it was on the table. I honestly didn't expect that, but I'm glad he let me know. He was recently hired, so he's still learning. However, I wish him the best of luck.
The meal was great. I got a fiesta taco baked potato with some Mac and cheese.
They had an ATM so I could withdraw money from my bank account. Since I used my last $5 bill on my new game card, I'm Thankful I was able to get a 20 out to break down for as needed bus fare.
📝Can be improved📝
The menu was too hard to read. The easiest things for me to read were the sodas as well as some of the headers. Even though my phone's battery was running low, I'm happy I was able to use it was a magnifier. Had to zoom in really close though because that print was tiny!
There's nothing that shows how to use the game card. When the card kiosk said to tap the card, I didn't know where I was supposed to do that. When I was ready to play, it was difficult figuring out how to use the card. I wasted my play money I put on the card trying to figure that out. I did get to play ski ball a few times, and spin the ticket wheel twice… So I must've done something right. Besides those few times I got to play, the rest was wasted trying to figure it all out. There should be a pop up on the kiosk or something to show people how to use the card.
The print on the card kiosk was mostly tiny as well. While there were some things I was able to see like the home screen, the rest was a bit difficult.
