Page 8. --- SWEETSBURG, Que. - Jan. 30. - High Constable Davorst held an investigation into the incendiary fire which destroyed Holy Cross College at Farham, Que., causing a loss of $90,000 for which five students were arrested at noon yesterday. The constable found that three of the accused were connected with the fire, one of whom set the building afire, while the others acted as accomplices. The lad who set the fire is J. P. Marchand, aged 11,of Montreal. His accomplices were Eugene Bonard, aged 15, of Albany N.Y., and Wm. Heney, aged 14, of Southbridge, Mass. The fire was discovered at 6.30 a.m. and was beyond control when the firemen arrived. One hundred and fifty boarders safely escaped. The loss is only partly covered by insurance.
