I think everyone in this photo has the same or a variation of the same haircut. I always enjoy the photos or farm or rural life in America in the 1930s. A very rough time for many. @farmlife @rurallife_clothing @rurallifelm @20s.30s.40s.50s @otherlifememories @shinyvintage.club @shinyvintage_clothing @thebowlcut_official #dancunyarchives #ruralliving #farmlife #farmlive https://www.instagram.com/p/Ci8sLP4Pr--/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

good morning and hello to do list 💪🏼 #slave4live #farmlive #newzealand (at Silverdale, New Zealand)
since the beggining of May we are on Pelly Farm. A farm 51km dirtroad outside of Pelly Crossing. In the middle of nowhere. And therefore it´s living is not quite like at home :D there is electricity, but only limitedfrom solarpanels. There is water, but only cold water and only if you have enough energie in the batterys for the waterpump, so better don´t use all for your computer, otherwise you´re not able to flush the toilet anymore... You can take a shower as well! But if you don´t want ice cold water, you have to make a fire underneath a barrel, fill it with enouth water and wait until it is the perfect (!) temperature, once you´re in the shower you can´t change it anymore.
So life is not as easy as at home, but it´s still amazing! Sun is rising about 6:30am and sets around 10pm. But at 12 you can still walk around without a flashlight easily. And cause the sun is shining so long it gets pretty warm (around 26 degrees maximum) and you can work long, so you can work relaxed! We get up at 8, have breakfast till 9 or 9:30, then feed the cows and the chicken and then start working. Normally at 1 or 2 we have lunch, till 3 or 4 and then work again until 7 or 8. Sounds pretty long, but inbetween Dale explains us everything we want to know and shows us around the farm and so much more, so it doesn´t really feel like work. For example, one day we went to Fort Selkirk, an old trading post of the first nation people and in the 19th century people from Europe started to trade here as well, very interesting!
So we really enjoy the live here and due to that we extendet our stay for 1,5 more weeks and decided to not go to another farm then, so we will be here till the 26th of May or something
