Pokemon Fankid ABCs - D/E/F
There’s no such thing as a bad place to take a group picture, right? Even if that means stopping in the middle of a busy sidewalk.
Fankid Pics: Faron Liscio
Rose: That’s really awesome Faron! I wish I could carve things like that. Can you show me? Faron: No. Rose: Why not? I won’t cut my fingers! Faron: Oh, I don’t care about that. You’ll waste my wood by making bad carvings. Rose: Rude. Faron: *smiles and waves at her* Don’t worry, I’ll make you one.
Headcanon: Faron hates wasting things, especially his supply of things to do wood carvings and other crafts.
Note: Background was sampled from the anime and edited by me.

Hi, I asked about the autistic fankid. If you need help setting up Tristan, I can give some pointers (I have high-functioning Asperger's myself). High-functioning autistics struggle to concentrate on things that are of no interest to them, but the things that do interest them they can devote their 100% focus to (In my words, dumb in one area=genius in another). I didn't like math in school, so my grades there often slipped, but I loved history and would get excellent marks there all the time.
I was aware of some of these facts. A few weeks ago we were fortunate enough to have a guess speaker who actually identified as having high-functioning Aspergers (he mentioned high-functioning autism as well, which is partially why I never thought anything of it) who explained many aspects of his life to us so that we can understand out future students easier.
Lets talk about Tristan and things that I’ve already established about him:
Things he does not care about: style or typical colour coordination. He likes what he likes as long as it makes sense to him. That doesn’t really matter one way or another though.
He specifically trains bear-like pokemon and absolutely loves nature/forests. He is incredibly knowledgable about both of these things. He can rhyme things off faster than any pokedex. He never really liked reading or fantasy, and good lord he hates math, but he’s always done well with things such as environmental science and working with his hands.
He absolutely loves textile things - and really enjoys wood-working, even whittling by hand. It’s something that he’s worked hard at and really enjoyed.
Serena and Clemont were always particularly protective of him, and were wary about letting him wander on his own, but he’s never afraid in a forest and when he has his pokemon with him everything is 100% fine.
He is very honest about things that he likes or dislikes. He can come across as disorganized to some people, almost distractible or scattered, or seemingly spontaneous. This is just from the point of others. He can be incredibly focused on certain things and, as mentioned before, learns with his hands and by doing rather than lectures.
Keep in mind, Tristan is a triplet. Sometimes when others compare him to his sisters (or even Arianne) he can become very angry about how others treat him. Coming from such a big family can also be overwhelming for him at times. That being said he absolutely loves all of his family members, but the two he’s closest to are probably Serena and Liliene. I’d say Liliene over anyone else.
Sure, he loves Vivienne, but he finds she can be very loud and and just…too much some days. He knows she’d fight for him any day though and appreciates that. On the other hand, Liliene just treats him so normally. He sees how other siblings interact and realizes that Arianne and Vivienne do treat him a little different at times, but Liliene is always the same way with him.
Liliene is a very calm and down to earth person. She never babies him, but she knows when he needs more help or can’t handle situations and will step in. She’s very good at reading his body language and verbal ticks. She knows that there are certain subjects that should just not be touched and knows which ones to bring up.
When they’re older, Liliene owns a ranch, and Tristan actually lives there with her because he loves rural life over the hustle and bustle of Lumiose City (he never particularly liked it there). Tristan never feels like he’s freeloading since he actually works there with her. It makes him feel useful and there are plenty of areas to explore around them.
Those are just a couple things that I’ve sort of established before but I’m just expanding on them in regards to what you mentioned.
Tristan Liscio
Tristan absolutely adores both the outdoors and bear-like pokemon. He’d like to help with forest conservation, or to be a park ranger in the future.
Pangoro (Female.) is a calm and rather sluggish pokemon that just likes to chill, sleep and eat.
Cubchoo (Female.) is a prankster that loves to cause problems.
Teddiursa (Female.) can be a pretty big snob and doesn’t like others in her personal space.
Pancham (Male.) laughs and giggles at almost everything.
Spinda (Male.) looks drunk. Is not drunk.
Munchlax (Male.) thinks that he’s a bear. Tristan does too and they will both fight you on it.
