faron tower
Just a bit below Faron Tower in the East Necluda region is a delicious and nutritious fruit that results in hands down the best health food in the game-the Hearty Durian. Five of these together in a dish will result in a full recovery, +20 heart dish. The East Necluda region's rainforest holds the most Durians around, usually 3 or so per tree.
Mighty Thistles are also found in this specific area, a food item that will increase attack power. Be sure to not use the Durians and Thistles together, though!
Entry 28
Near-death experiences are becoming an unfortunate habit. I went looking for the origin of that dragon song, and wound up fighting a whole horde of electric lizalfos. On the plus side, I did get some new weapons, and I found the Spring of Courage. The Goddess spoke to me there, and said I had to offer Farosh's scale. I have no idea what that is, and she didn't feel inclined to tell me. So I guess my fight there was pointless, because assuming I ever find this scale, there'll be another blood moon before I get back to the spring.
This might be farfetched, but I'm wondering if Farosh is a dragon. The dragon imagery in this entire forest, the song, the river... it all adds up to one obvious answer. But maybe that's too obvious. Besides, no one I've met has seen a dragon, and I imagine they're pretty big.
I activated another tower, but looking at my map, I can't see any village in this direction. I wonder if I read the sign wrong. Maybe I just went in the wrong direction. Nevertheless, there are some interesting-looking waypoints here, and the path ends atop a mountain. There's got to be something there, at the end.
