People debating whether the halftime show was good or not is (one of) the reason Trump is in office again. Kendrick Lamar is a man who was wronged by the America's exploitive system multiple times and has openly spoken about how he feels about Trump and America with his music. Hence why DAMN, one of his most influential albums was referenced during the show. But people never look deeper. They THINK they do. Lamar was labeled as a threat by Fox News bc he wrote lyrics AGAINST police brutality. He included those segments in his lyrics. He has always been a target to the media. Hence why he has said, MORE THAN ONCE, fuck em. And I agree. Bc if you believe a young man from poverty in Compton does not have the right to speak about America today on America's halftime stage, oh boy have I some news for you. It was bigger than the music.

Trump endorses U.S. Marshals' summary execution of suspect

Why isn't this a major news story?

At a rally today in North Carolina, Donald Trump endorsed U.S. Marshals' killing of Michael Reinoehl. Reinoehl, the only suspect in the earlier death of a right-wing protestor during unrest in Portland, was shot dead in mysterious, bodycams-off circumstances outside his home by the marshals

The officers involved claimed that Reinoehl took aim at them first, but earlier this week the New York Times reported that they did not announce themselves before opening fire on him. Yesterday, they admitted the gun was in Reinoehl's pocket, not his hands. Today, Trump made clear that he approved unequivocally of the street execuction.

"We sent in the US Marshals, it took 15 minutes and it was over. They got him," Trump told his cheering audience. "They knew who he was, they didn't want to arrest him and 15 minutes that ended."
