Chromat SS16 Momentum Runway - Adaptive Fashion

Uhm, fashion. Yeah, I know. But this one is imho noteworthy due to a smart integration of technology and an appealing zeitgeist aesthetic:

Chromat sportswear functions as an augmentation that empowers the body to be stronger, faster and perform at optimum levels.

We believe that clothing should be able to sense the wearer’s data sets - the heart rate, temperature, breathing patterns, stress - and the wearer's environment - temperature, air levels, GPS, social setting - and be able to adapt and respond accordingly.

The Chromat Aeros Sports Bra detects the body’s temperature of its wearer and self-ventilates to help extend workout and training sessions. According to their blog, they've collaborated with Intel to create two responsive garments that transform based on the wearer’s data. The movement is powered by the Intel Curie Module.
