What is this? A sci-fi duology that I’ve been working on in some form or another since middle school.
Genres? Pretty cut-and-dry scifi, but in the “This is our current world but in 2050” way, not the “On a planet far far away” type.
Characters? LOADS. Beth, hydrokinetic. Hans, with a 12ft wingspan. Hallie, sweetheart with super speed. Christian, pyrokinetic. Matt, super strength. Michael, telekinetic. And Dr. Barbara Agau, the billionaire genius scientist running unethical human experiments (aka giving kids superpowers).
Themes? The climate crisis, one person with the weight of the world on her shoulders, found family.
Origin story? I started writing in middle school, it turned into a scifi story somewhere in high school, and then it split from one mega-novel into two books while I was in college.
Tagline? As Beth fights tooth and nail for the freedom to make her own decisions, the health of the planet hangs in the balance.
Can I find more? Of course! I have wip pages, an ask box, a consistent tagging system, and I check notes religiously. I'm an open book (pun intended)!
