I know EXACTLY how Noelle will end up with Susie and Kris at the festival next Chapter!
Okay, so if y'all remember, in one of the greatest Suselle moments in the whole Susie tells Carol to her face that she was going out with Noelle whether she liked it or not. However, there's no way in heck that Carol's not going to take drastic action after hearing that, and I very much believe that she's going to place Noelle under house arrest for the whole festival. I know it sounds extreme, but this is Carol Holiday we're talking about. But as we can see from the promo screenshot released by GoNintendo, Noelle is definitely gonna be at the festival. So how does that happen if Carol goes out of their way to prevent her from doing so to keep her from seeing Susie!
That's where Kris the wingthey (and/or future polycule member) comes in with the save!
In the church scene, she tells Kris that they used to help her break into her room whenever she got locked out of the house. And the reason I believe Toby put it there in Chapter 4 is to foreshadow how Kris is gonna help Noelle in getting to the festival, since if they know how to break her INTO her room, they know how to break her OUT!
So rest easy, Noelle shippers! We're getting our festival date after all!

I wanna know people's speculation about who opened the fountain. All hints point at Asgore, but I don't remember any hints at Asgore being associated in any way with japanese culture. There could have been, I just don't remember.
Besides, I'm an Alphys fan. Enough said.
This moment perfectly shows what I love so much about how Carol Holiday's character is written: it's how the narrative goes out of its way to demonstrate that Carol has redeeming qualities (i.e., genuinely caring about her daughters) and, at the same time, doesn't use that love to downplay or excuse her abusive behaviour.
The fact that she tells her daughter she's worried about burning herself cooking more or less proves that deep down, Carol truly cares about her daughter's well-being and wants to protect her. And yet, at the same time, you can't really blame yourself or anyone else for hating her because the intentions behind her behaviour towards Noelle, however understandable and well-meaning they are, do not excuse the profound psychological and emotional harm she's causing her (not to mention the manipulation with Kris).
Carol's mindset is a lethal combination of Asgore's inability to move on from the past and accept change and Chara's obsession with making everything and everyone as strong and complete as possible. She's an abusive parent not because she doesn't care about Noelle and Dess, because her relationship with her daughter is not rooted in a genuine understanding of her daughter's needs and wishes but rather in a self-centred belief that she and she alone know what's best for everyone AND an unwillingness to see the lasting damage she's doing to those close to her and confront the behaviour causing that damage!!!!
Is she an absolutely detestable character? Hell yeah, she is!!! But that doesn't mean she isn't also an amazingly complex and nuanced character as well!!!

Here's my idea of a dark world Carol can't wait to be humiliated in two weeks
This moment here demonstrates what I think is one of Carol's most interesting and underrated qualities: that she has a very reactionary mindset in that she always tries to force things back to a certain status quo instead of accepting change or things as they are.
I don't believe she's helping out Asgore financially just for some menial housework. I think the fact that she's also encouraging him to try to get back with Toriel demonstrates that she's trying to bring back her relationship with the Dreemurrs despite all the evidence that it's just not possible anymore.
AND WE ALSO SEE THIS WITH DESS'S ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fact that she preserves it perfectly as it was before her disappearance further shows that she's not the kind of person who likes to move on, as if she believes that doing anything to Dess's room (i.e. emptying it out of her possessions as one would do after the loss of a loved one) would signify to her there's no hope she's coming back (or that she knows she isn't gone if she had a hand in making her the Knight).
In a way, she is basically a living embodiment of the Snowgrave Run, in that she always forces things to be a certain way, and in doing so, makes the lives of the people they affect that much worse (in addition to being figuratively and literally cold AF).
