Being in the fitness industry, you see a lot of stuff. Things you like, and things you don't like. While I love how much I learn, I have some grievances that I want to address. -Fad diets. We all know them. They give the idea of a quick fix for weightloss and fatloss, and leave us genuine coaches spinning our gears trying to convince people that they are nor the way to go -crappy cookie cutter workout plans, and workout programs that pack so much unnecessary stuff into each workout that you can do more harm than good. It's best to keep it simple and stick to the basics while doing progressive overload. Which is increasing your weights each week as you go along. -supplements. Yes supplements. You don't need a boat load of over the counter supplements. And if you feel the need, talk to your doctor and see what could possibly be going on and get to the root of the problem. -cookie cutter plans and programs. Fitness is nor one size fits all. What works for person A, may not work for person B. Most workout programs can be interchangeable, but when it comes to meal.plans, only registered dietitians and nutritionists should be doing that. If you are certified you can do macros and make suggestions. But even with those, not every breakdown works for everyone. -and lastly, calling shirts pump covers and glute/asses/butts, dumpies. Call it like it is. Stop coming up weird pet names for muscle groups and body parts. It's just weird. As a coach I want to provide a quality program whether it's GRIT. LIFT, personal/group training, or even working with tou on the FASTer way to fatloss through working out, intermittent fasting, and tracking macros. I'm not going to give you a bogus workout or diet program. I won't tell you to follow fad. I will work to find what FITS YOU BEST. Because that is what is important. And also, I will never call working glutes, building wheels, growing a dumpie, or telling you to wear a pump cover. Weat a shirt. That's what it is. So stay tuned, lots of stuff is coming, and I'm ready for it all. Stay safe Don't fall for the crappy diets And drink your water . . . #avatarnutrition #trackyourintake #trackyourmacros #fastercoach #empoweredfitness (at Empowered Fitness) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdMaZMbOdKJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
