As someone who’s dragged Dream at least a LITTLE BIT (it wasn’t a little bit) for possibly cheating, I feel obligated to post this video where he defends himself, as well as the document Dream commissioned to be done by a PhD Stats-man.
All of these make the odds EXTREMELY less likely that he has cheated, but the odds are still in the millions (from what I skimmed of the document). Though, given who Dream is and all of the things and yada yada, it feels like he wouldn’t have cheated now more than ever.
Watch the video, read the document (or don’t, it’s a lot of math, I’m sure someone will summarize it) and come to your own conclusions.
Important tidbit from the video: Dream does not care whether his speedrun gets reinstated or not, he’s simply doing this to protect his name.
