the house md episodic formula is killing me. wilson would have to bend over a table and slide in a hey can you come cure this dying guy you'd otherwise not give a shit about and house would be like fuck you and wilson would be like but he's interesting and he'd be like ugh fine. and his team would be like we gave him the medicine drug and he's not responding well to it and he would be like that's so stupid only an idiot would give him the medicine drug. How vexing....and he'd clock in to the clinic and call his patient a stupid idiot for coming to the doctor to have their sepsis treated. And then he says something which magically relates to his case's diagnosis and he does that eureka! stare. fast walking. what he needs is a healthy dose of evil medicine. And they'd be like IMPOSSIBLE! that is both endangerment AND medical malpractice. It could KILL the patient and he'd be like idc do it, and they'd do it. and they'd be like omg Dr house I can't believe you're right the treatment worked! I'm always right because I'm smart and you're stupid. Cue wilsons knowing smirk, dr cuddy rolls her eyes. Order is restored. Thank dr house for me, wet cough, because of him I not only resolved my medical issue, but also my underlying personal conflicts and fear of confronting death sprinkled in throughout the episode, wet cough. also it's not without him doing a microaggression against foreman. the end

literally anything by grady hendrix. i've read the southern book club's guide to slaying vampires and loved it because i felt it was a good mix of fun + scary + impactful. horrorstör and my best friend's exorcism look good too & they're on my reading list!

october – michael rowe. i always recommend this one even though i'm not 100% sure that it's Good Writing or a Good Story, but i thought it was very fun and has one of the craziest opening chapters i've ever read, i mean it.

currently i'm reading secrets so deep by ginny myers sain. it's crazy good. her writing style reminds me a lot of my own so maybe that's why i'm so drawn to it but it's reaaaallly good so far.

i haven't read most of these but i've read their synopses while working at the library and they all sound so good 🫶 a majority of them Are supernatural/horror fiction because that's kind of what i always find myself stumbling across during my rounds <3 hope you enjoy ily

okay as for my favoritest section of the library with the awesomest books i'd definitely have to say adult nonfiction in the 100s. paranormal stuff + books on demonology and aliens and stuff :]
