Artoria seeing a beautiful dream at the end of her life, while Altera sees a dream that she wakes up from and continues to yearn for.
I love the parallels here (or perhaps I'm reading too much into it), Artoria who has experienced a normal life before pulling the sword, actively refused to become human again, out of duty and out of guilt. It's too late for her to return to who she was, but she gets to finally let go, because of that one dream.
Meanwhile, Altera who was questionning her own actions and her purpose, got to briefly experience the life of a human, but can't go back to it due to her nature, yet she clings to the remnants of that dream, she wants to cling to that human life she once had,
