between now and june 1, the inyeon collective is dispatching numerous street interviewers throughout the city to catch some insights from passerbys. this post contains a list of ask prompts you can send to others, as well as sentence starters for the event in general!
to take part in this ask game, please reply to this post tagging the url of your participating muse account(s) and if they are open to ask prompts, starter prompts, or both. and of course, make sure their askbox is open!
we encourage everyone to send at least one prompt to other participants over the course of the event (though due to tumblr's daily ask limit, we understand that can take some time).
questions may be sent on or off anon, but responses should be written in character, as if your muse is responding to an inyeon rep who has stopped them in the street for a brief interview. ic, consider this rep to be rather persistent, and would ask your muse multiple times if your muse didn't answer at first. feel free to have your muse respond accordingly — even if they might refuse to answer a certain question!
answers can be posted with the tag #fated:expo until the event ends on june 1.
a list of eligible prompts are available below:

for the rest of the month of may, the inyeon collective is hosting AN EXPO as part of their 1 billion global users celebration. this public event is being held at a festival grounds near the observatory and will run from 9am to 9pm every day until the end date. entry is free to all, but don't forget to bring enough allowance to try all of the food trucks!
multiple attractions will be temporarily set up, including rides, event booths, and food trucks/stalls. additionally, some notable names will be in attendance, listed below . . .
the inyeon collective has put a great deal of effort into promoting the expo, including a street interview campaign aimed to get the conversation started on all things fate related. prepare your answers from the question list HERE in case you get stopped on the street by an inyeon rep!
OOC DETAILS
welcome to our first event! this is an event that will canonically run for the rest of the month of may (with a similar ooc runtime).
this event is accompanied by an ASK GAME, styled as spontaneous street interviews. you can find participation details for the ask game on its own post HERE!
between now and june 1, any new threads pertaining to this event or replies to the ask game can be tagged with #fated:expo. a list of other canon activities & attendees are also listed below the cut, but it is no means comprehensive; feel free to headcanon other attractions/booths as you please! as you can probably imagine, this event is a heavy marketing campaign in favor of fatemarks, so there will be plenty of vendors trying to take advantage of the massive public attendance. if you are interested in having your muse take part in a booth or set up their own, definitely reach out to the main, we'd love to get them officially added to the list!
the provider of the expo's attractions this year, with a 99% accident-free track record. come try out the ferris wheel, mini pirate ship, or they have also set up various carnival games and a prize booth at the back of the fair grounds for the young ones (or anyone looking to impress their soulmate with a giant stuffed animal).
additionally, they have coordinated with incheon's very own vintage cherry karaoke to host open karaoke nights 6pm-8pm on the main stage every saturday. every night, the performer who earns the loudest applause will win a 100,000KRW cash prize and 1 month's worth of free sessions at vintage cherry (excluding meals)!
SPECIAL APPEARANCE: FORMER BIRDS OF PARADISE MEMBERS...?
you may know her from the idol group birds of paradise — and even if you don't, you've almost certainly heard her voice in the group's belated hit COSMIC making it rounds in the charts lately. new fans may have been disappointed to learn that members such as aera (@synthhearts) and ayla (@artificialidyll) had gone their separate ways a long time ago, but the inyeon collective has extended invitations for all members to appear for a vip experience of the expo, including a special performance from AERA, who recently made her solo debut with the ep VIRTUAL LOVER.
don't miss her special performance on the main stage at 7:30pm-8:30pm, every friday throughout the expo!
BOOTH: LOVEBUG
as one of inyeon's official partners, several lovebug booths will be available with all kinds of new user incentives. stop by for a free t-shirt or to enter this year's raffle for a chance to win a free fatemarking procedure, all expenses paid by the company (terms & conditions apply).
stop by the promotional booth, hosted by the company's newest social media manager dilmurat ziya (@heartrendz), for some freebies. share a quick story about a great connection you found with lovebug, and you'll be entered to win one of ten free gift cards!
additionally, various lovebug guest speakers such as future successor shin mirae (@stellarmechanics) will be hosting lunchtime talks on various topics such as, "the science of soulmates," "the statistical probability of finding 'the one,'" and "destiny as an algorithm." check the event calendar for a full list of presentations and make sure to catch them on the main stage!
BOOTH: SECONDLIFE STUDIOS
taking up this year's largest booth is secondlife studios, who have come to demonstrate their latest vr technology, which now adds special experiences specifically related to fatemarks. their latest hardware is a special glove that is capable of simulating a resonance . . . even outside of vr.
their lead engineer will be present alongside company representatives to demo the groundbreaking hardware. interested in being one of the first to try? grab a partner you'd like to test a resonance with and head over to the booth today!
BOOTH: LETHE COMPANY
a new name to the scene, the lethe company is a brand new startup offering more than just a reset . . . they claim to be able to guarantee that once you reset a bond with someone, you will never be able to resonate with them again. maybe now you can finally rule out that on-and-off-again situationship for good, or make sure that pesky suitor will never get their way. all you need is the person's hexcode.
skeptical? so are we! the company is offering resets at half price, expeditiously performed in a privacy tent by their booth. all you need is five minutes to spare and an optimistic, risk-taking attitude.
* PARTICIPATION NOTE: taking part in this activity will result in permanent changes affecting your muse. if you would like to take part, please write a starter of your participating muse approaching the booth and tag the main, and an attendant will respond to start the procedure shortly. if your muse is participating with another muse, tag them too, and this will begin as a three-way thread.
STALL: HEXCODE SAMPLERS
think that the hue of your fatemark contributes to the science of your ultimate soulmate? stop by one of the hexcode sampling booths to find your specific hexcode, and which hexcodes they are most compatible with. for the hardcore believers, you may also pay a cheap fee to get your hexcode analyzed by one of the onsite volunteers, who will give you an extensive report on your best & worst types of matches.
as a bonus, bring a companion to analyze if you two would be a good bonded match!
* PARTICIPATION NOTE: if you would like your muse to take part in this activity, please write a starter of your muse approaching the stall and tag the main. if they are participating with another muse, tag the other muse too, and this will begin as a three-way thread.
SPOTTED: CLUB ICARUS FLIERS
club icarus hardly needs to promote themselves to be packed every night, and true enough, they have no proper booth . . . but an assortment of enigmatic posters have been spotted around the festival grounds: no dates, no details, only an image of feathers scattered on the ground and the promise of, A NIGHT TO DIE FOR.
seems like more details on this will be revealed soon . . .
SPOTTED: ANTI-FATEMARK RALLIES
not all is well, it seems. a group of masked protestors have been showing up by the event entrance. there are only a handful of them right now, but their numbers are slowly growing over the days. so far, they have been peaceful, but it won't be long until event security gets restless, especially with pressure from the bigger attending companies.
their signs make their displeasure towards the inyeon collective pretty well known, but more outspoken ones might be likely to stop you on your way in and tell you bluntly that these fatemarks are brainwashing you. best to ignore them . . .
other signs have also cropped up throughout the city. inyeon kindly asks you to take down any disparaging fliers that you see!
SPOTTED: I.N.N. REPORTERS
always the first to the scene of any major event, the i.n.n. is providing daily coverage of the expo. walking around, you may be stopped by newscasters to give a quick interview for the network.
PARTICIPATING: THE INYEON COLLECTIVE
last but not least, our host and the trailblazers themselves, the inyeon collective will have multiple booths towards the main stage, each one focused on spreading the company's mission, showing off the latest developments in fatemarking technology, and offering exclusive early looks at new career opportunities within the company.
interested in a career change, towards something that will make a real difference? stop by today—and more importantly, bring a skeptic!
