protagonist vergil is definitely not running dante’s “devil may cry” lol… maybe he primarily deals in demonic artifacts and does demon hunting on the side. it’s a personal matter to him & the self imposed mantel he’s taken up so he’d like to keep his ear to the pavement about it anyway, proactively even. he’s capable of rapid instantaneous transportation as long as he’s been anywhere at least once so morrison would definitely highly appreciate working with the guy, personality defects aside…

So in short: Aventurine is still a Stoneheart and Veritas a smart dude. But this time Veritas is the one that has to fight through trauma and Aventurine will be there to help him, no matter how often he gets pushed away :3 If anyone is interested feel free to use this AU. I would be so happy to see how other people work with this idea with different ships or even the same ones but with a different part of their past swapped. I did a few more ships with this and I will post similar sheets like this for them (Guns n Roses and Galladay) so stay tuned <3
