Father Brown season 13 confirms special guest stars and unveils first-look images as filming wraps

One fan-favourite character is making a return after their departure in 2022.

While Mark Williams, Tom Chambers, Claudie Blakley, Ruby-May Martinwood and John Burton are all back as their fan-favourite characters, it has also been confirmed that Sorcha Cusack, who played Mrs Bridgette McCarthy from season 1 to 9, will make a special guest return in episode 1.

Other stars who have appeared in previous episodes and are returning for new guest appearances include Nancy Carroll as Lady Felicia, John Light as Hercule Flambeau, Lex Shrapnel as Father Lazarus, Roger May as Canon Fox and Kieran Hodgson as Father Lindsey.

finally watched episode one of series 10 father brown after avoiding it for years and i actually loved it!!! mrs devine is lovely and having sullivan back is awesome!! i cant believe ive been missing out on this

Mrs Devine woke up way to calmly to a dead body next to her in bed. Like she got up and looked at the guy like she realized she left the oven on. And this guy way bloody.

Also, clear evidence of favoritism by Sullivan in that he didn't immediately arrest Mrs Devine despite the fact that if it was literally anyone else she'd be cuffed in less than 5 seconds.

okay but with new FB info coming out about the next season, like, I'm very excited for so many things but I shall compose a list, in no particular order

the return of Eddie Devine. he did not have a good introduction - not because of writing quality, he was just a little shit - but he seemed to ease up on Sullivan at the end, so I'm excited to see him again, hopefully some bonding, and some Eddie redemption

Sullivan's parents. so exciting. his father is in two eps and his mother in one, by the looks?? I'm excited to see the dynamic, not just because this man and his parents, but Mrs D with them, how Brenda will act around a presumably retired copper, all sorts

Mrs Goodfellow has a name now? after all this years?? I'm excited to meet Violet, for her to have lines, a personality, I'm ready you know, it's been a long time coming

Lady Felicia in two episodes, fantastic

Flambeau is back again as always

Angela Rippon is in an episode and she will be dancing and I am so excited

also John Hopkins. not dancing but he's there. if you know me, I love Midsomer Murders, and I love Dan Scott, and I just really like John and his work so it'll be great to see him in this
