This Father’s Day Sunday morning we were blessed by listening to a sermon my Dad preached at our local church in 2009, before Parkinson’s took away his strength and voice. We heard him speak on The Fatherhood of God and the specific ways it applies (and doesn’t) to humanity in general, to the Lord Jesus in particular, and to those of us who believe in Him. As usual with Dad’s preaching it was clear, Bible-based, and illustrated with helpful stories and examples from life to bring the points home. . My father passed into the presence of the Lord on January 20 this year, four days before his 95th birthday.
