From went so so far to keep from saying the word “Jew” when talking about golems it makes me want to eat their fucking livers like the Man in Yellow.

As if Fatima being a member of the Persian diaspora who escaped with her life from the Islamic Republic of Iran because her father was a political dissident who was executed by the mullahs wouldn’t at least know about Jewish persecution people because of the regime’s genocidal campaign against Israel and could not in fact be an Iranian Jew herself!

But it’s the way From would even let her or Boyd SAY Jews or Jewish to describe the source of golems!

It’s the erasure of Jews from the golem mythology so completely while keeping golems in tact otherwise on a way I have rarely seen.

And it’s fucking extra insulting that the show use an Iranian diaspora character, our ally and cousin, be the vehicle for this erasure of Jewish culture and power of protection.
