Imagine introducing someone as your avenger in law.

if there’s a family function happening on the non-avenger’s side of the family, there’s a chance that at least seven (7) avengers will show up to said function bc they’re avengers-in-law. and it’s usually the same seven showing up for the free food.

     carol was there, in wakanda. she’d came back to earth to catch up with daisy, see how shield was doing. however, when she got here, carol was told only of things that had happened TO the other woman. bad things. how her friends betrayed her, used her, and more. she’d offered to bring her ship, which can also lightspeed travel, that she’d gotten as a gift from a planet she helped protect (she used it to sleep when she needed it) and whisk her away to another planet to relax.

     but that was when daisy gotten a call from the avengers, needing her help in wakanda. naturally, carol went with her to offer her assistance as well. the fight ensues, and carol usually stays by daisy’s side or she’s up in the air firing photon blasts at the monsters from above before one jumped high enough to tackle her out of the sky. rolling tumble, she photon blasted them off herself and found daisy getting dog piled in the chaos. flying close to the ground, she whisked through the pile as daisy was quake blasting her way out and landed right beside her.

     those things just kept coming, though, so carol was separated again from daisy. she was helping out some struggling wakandans, helping them keep fighting and keep going, when she heard the sound of an explosion and noticed, in the distance, a wave of light break through the trees. then, she saw it reverse as quickly as it’d happened. and carol’s eyes widened. she took off, trying to get over there, but she sees thor in the sky and a beam of light going for him that he threw his axe through and carol stops. she waits, hovering, firing photon blasts at some of the monsters that continued on when she assumed thanos was there already,

     and then the stopped. and wakandans started to turn to dust around her. she landed, but her eyes frantically searched for daisy.     come on... come on, where are you...     she finds her, and carol takes off running to her. but, what she’s not prepared for is to see tiny flakes of her breaking free as she runs.     no... no, no, no, no !!!!!

     ❛   DAISY !!!!!   ❜     carol screams, willing herself to go faster. but she’s too late. daisy’s reaching out for her, and right as carol attempts to take her hand one last time... it crumbles. and she’s left staring at the spot her girlfriend once stood, only dust left behind on the ground as bits floated past her in the air. the woman falls to her knees, a shaky hand touching where daisy was just standing, and she immediately starts to cry. both hands come up to cover her face and she’s hurting. immensely. but carol knows one thing: this means war. and thanos will find out who she is, and why you DON’T cross her.

MASTER OF DISGUISE,    she’s  kept  well  hidden  for  so  long  it  would  be  a  shame  to  be  discovered  now.     Sharon’s  travelled  far  and  wide  since  her  disappearance  back  in  2016:   Her  numerous  passports  were  stamped  like  that  of  a  man  whose  life  was  only  lead  by  his  heart   –––   even  when  her  heart  had  gotten  her  into  trouble  so  many  occasions  in  the  past.       ❛    I  don’t  know  who  the  hell  you  are,    ❜       Her  words  are  rough,   raspy,    like  they’ve  been  thrown  out  of  her  throat  which  feels  like  it’s  been  coated  in  sandpaper.    She’s  exhausted,   skipping  towns  and  countries  just  to  stay  clear  of  any  avoidable  danger  that  might  include  the  consequence  of  being  locked  up  for  the  rest  of  her  life  –––  and  this  situation,   right  now,   is  not  the  most  ideal.               ❛    But  I  know  you’re  not  very  smart.    ❜
