ngl, the first time I watched Colin's speech at the Butterfly Ball I disliked it because I wanted Colin to find fulfilment beyond being Pen's love interest (feel secure in his own worthiness). It made me crave more scenes in S3 showing Colin's individual character growth.

I still do crave more Colin scenes, but as I write this I can appreciate how these two quotes reflect Colin's journey from insecure to secure.

Pen @ Fran's wedding is saying to Colin: Being wholly yourself is what I love.

Colin @ Butterfly Ball is saying to Pen: You are so awesome. Knowing I have the purpose of loving you makes me feel like I can allow myself to love myself too.
