Rereading for the nth time, my most favourite book series:
ROWAN OF RIN by Emily Rodda
These are a compilation of short books about the adventures of a shy and fearful boy who faces perils that are seemingly greater that who he is. But eventually finds that being different may be a strength and that true friendships are found in these difficult times.
Emily Rodda is also the author of Deltora Quest and its series. Just sayin
Imagine reading The Book of Magic and not feeling your heart absolutely shatter.
I cried til my head hurt and by the end of the book my heart felt as if it had somehow pieced itself back together.

Since the Ben 10 franchise is turning 15 next month I wanted to ask you some Ben 10 questions
What was your favorite series and why? (I’m torn between the OS and Ultimate Alien)
Who is your favorite character? (For me it’s either Kevin or Max)
Favorite transformation? (Canonbolt for me)
Favorite villian (Ghostfreak no doubt)
Favorite Series? -OS, definitely. It was part of my childhood, so I have a really soft spot for it. Alien Force/Ultimate Alien were fun to watch as well. So I can understand why you enjoyed the latter. Personally I wasn't expecting to enjoy those seasons as much as I did.
Favorite Character? -Kevin, mainly in AF/UA. I liked his character's development and how he was able to redeem himself these seasons. It was nice to see more of him. (And his crush on Gwen was adorable. Gwevin became my first Ben 10 ship/OTP because of the series.)
Favorite Transformation? -For OS, I'd say Heatblast. For AF/UA, probably Big Chill.
Favorite Villain?- Charmcaster. Doesn't matter the rendition, when she first appeared she won me over. Loved her design.
