The wrapped box was left atop the girl's dresser, the message 'Merry Christmas, Tsubomi!' on a white card tied underneath the box's red ribbon. Inside was a new apron, a light lavender ( not too girly, aside from the intricately stitched 'tsubomi' near the bottom ) and two new earbuds, both a purple to match the younger's worn jacket. There was a new whisk and measuring cups as well! A clear indication for a baking day sometime soon.

A smile comes to her face before she’s even finished going through all of the box’s contents, expression bright from the very start of the unwrapping (here in her room, she doesn’t have to think twice about being questioned about it). It’s just as easy to silently agree as it is to see through the hints her sister had given her, yet she makes a note to herself as a reminder to actually make the suggestion ‘first’ when she had the chance. It’d been a while since the two of them had cooked together, hadn’t it? She couldn’t help but wonder if it had made the elder feel lonely, in some way ─ ahh, but thinking about those things during holidays would only lead to bad moods. Instead, she takes to inspecting the new headphones, an appreciative noise sounding in response at their quality (this pair, at least, she could wear out in public places ─ the thought of doing the same with Takane’s gift had only left her shuddering in something similar to fear, to put it simply). 

Thank you, Oneechan. Without much effort, the box is lifted into her arms, the trek to the kitchen being her next move. There were steps to be taken before the new things could actually be used, after all, and it was best to get it started early.
