Kirbytober 2023 - Day 5: Favorite Enemy
#30DayPsychonautsChallenge - 7. Favorite enemy?
G-Men
Good grief what can I say about these guys that hasn’t been said.
They’re voiced by Steve freaking Blum. Their written dialogue is hysterical and is only amplified many times by the monotonous acting.
They’re actually clueless idiots that are representative of people who know more than they lead on.
Their designs are both super cute and strangely attractive. I have drawn these guys way too much and not enough. I now have a love for mysterious characters that look like this. (You’d be surprised how many there are.) My love for G-Men is eternal. More G-Men fanart. More.
Favorite OFF enemy?
So this might be a weird question, but to all you OFF fans, what’s your favorite enemy in the entire game?
I’m torn between Zone 3 Secretaries for being the only legit threat in the entire game and the Pastel burnt for being so damn cool and a Boss in Mook’s clothing.
Doctor Who Fest: Week 1 Day 2
Favorite Enemy: The Master
Fun (or not so fun) fact: The Doctor and The Master used to be best friends.
I think that not only is the Doctor heartbroken after finding out he was not alone (#yana) and losing the only other remaining Time Lord but also over the fact that his former best friend is dying/died in his arms. The doctor started to see the best in others because of Rose. Because of her making him better. Because she healed him from the shattered, broken, angry person he was after the Time War. He felt that his old best friend could be possibly saved, turned around. And even if he couldn't be, at least he would have a forever companion who could travel with him until the end of his regeneration lifespan.
In the end, the Master saves the Doctor's life. I think in part to have revenge on the Time Lords who made him what he became, but also to repay the Doctor for the one kindness given at the end of his "other" life and because he knows, or at least he believes, that the Doctor is the better one of them, from a pure decency perspective.
At least that is my take on it. LOL!
This is only the beginning. We will prepare, we will grow stronger. When the time is right we will emerge and take our rightful place as the supreme power of the universe!
30-DAY SILENT HILL CHALLENGE
(4.) Favorite minor enemy?
A: The Slurper
The Slurper is definitely one of the scariest monsters in the Silent Hill series. the way it looks, the way it crawls, the sounds it makes, the way it attacks. just all around creepy. Couldn't even tell you the thoughts that go through my head when I encounter this monster. It's face and human-like features are amazingly eerie. I've never see something like it in reality or video-game. It is very phantasmagorical, like something you would only see in a nightmare. (ironically enough, encountering it in the Nightmare world) -Masahiro Ito definitely took the cake with this monster design
