I feel you. I'm sorry it didn't bode well for you and your friend and I understand the lingering feelings too. Why i loved peaches is because usually, in these type of stories, it always ends well and they end up portraying a friends to lovers dynamic but no one realizes that that isn't always gonna be true when it comes to reality. Peaches beautifully brought out how every friendship (though we may wish it to) won't end up in love and I'm really grateful to it for that.
