The reason Shrignold was so calm during his lesson, is because the cult of Malcolm forces it's followers to suppress any emotion except love. But only the correct type of love. Since Shrignold is the cult leader, he has to make sure he doesn't slip up in front of his fellow cultists, otherwise he will be fed to Malcolm out of sheer dissapointment. Kinda hard being a cult leader, actually. Gets to the butterfly occasionally, ya know?

On a scale of one to ten how good is James at a fist fight. No sword, just straight up fists. That hook of his probably helps, at least in hand-to-hand combat.
{ I would def say about 8, the only way he could be more dangerous would be if he knew some fighting styles like Judo and such, but he does not. However, he is canonically shown multiple times to be both incredibly strong (he can pick up two grown men at once), agile, and flexible (especially during croc fights). He is both difficult to hit and lands powerful blows, which is a pretty good combination in my opinion. So yeah, besides having a hook that can claw you, he’s got a right that will knock most on their rear (if they aren’t around his size or bigger, or have some sort of magic/ability to help them).
Yellow tried to draw Roy an orca for father's day, but it just ended up looking like a sideways penguin. Roy still loved it though. He stuck it to his fridge, and it hangs there from now, to the heat death of the universe.
If lamp actually sobers up and tries, he can sing rather well. Better than the food group and Tony, that's for sure.
Yellow is actually an impressive student for lasting as long as he did, most students just get to three and four, and then they break. The kid has stamina.
Colin sometimes goes on reddit and finds some "sick" roasts to use on his fellow teachers/students. Needless to say, he always looks like a massive dweeb, and cannot roast for the life of him. Now, someone like Sketch? THAT is a whole different story.
