Words with friends

Words with friends in face can be called the modern day scrabble. I found it to be a fun time pass and the game itself is a virtual scrabble board and though it may not be for the adrenaline junkies words with friends has been targeted to a specific audience namely the chess players. I had mixed feeling about it.

To be honest scrabble itself isn’t for the weak minded but if zynga wanted to replace the board with words with friends than they haven’t done a good job. I mean the whole point of the board game was so that the family and friends could have a good time. But words with friends it just doesn’t have that feeling that I got when playing scrabble. The game isn’t all bad I liked that you can be paired with a random opponent to play a friendly game. The art style is really nice and over all the game is well designed.

Words with friends on facebook is a game that I really wanted to like but disappointingly so it never grew past the shadow of the board game scrabble. It does provide a good pass time once in a while but the game had the potential to be much more than that. I recommend that you skip out on this game and wait for the sequel and hope that zynga realize the potential that a game like this hold and mend their mistakes
