Date Everything Headcanon Time

Occasionally, the Player has weekly movie nights with the Dateables to get to know them better. Everyone’s names go in a hat and whoever’s name is pulled gets to choose the movie.

When Vaughn’s name is pulled, everyone anxiously expects him to pick a horror movie involving rats or something, like “Willard”.

Instead, he chooses an underrated little comedy called “MouseHunt”. When asked why, this is his response:

“A good chunk o’ my cousins are in this!” 😁

Have you ever seen Mouse Hunt?

OH YEAH, I have a weird history with that movie.

When I was a kid (back in the early 2000s), I used to go to this afterschool place and they had these random tapes that they'd play on a loop and one of them was Mouse Hunt. So I've probably seen the first twenty minutes or so way too many times and the whole movie like...twice?

I'm not really sure what to make of it overall. It has some funny moments and Nathan Lane always slays but it's also weirdly dark. Lemme tell ya, I don't get grossed out easily but that restaurant scene is burned in my mind. If you know, you know. 💀
