Can we talk about Jacob Kowalski

Like, he gets to be witness to all of this fantastic stuff, to find that he has made friends with the wizarding world, and to meet a woman who seems to care deeply for him, and then he wipes his memory. 

But Newt gives him collateral for his business. The bakery. So he opens Kowalski Quality Baked Goods. IN 1927.

2 years later, in 1929, the Great Depression begins. I think he gets the short end of the stick here.
