A few days ago, I was in Vegas on #business and happened to sit next to someone who was fiddling on their phone, nervously eating. Probably because I can’t help myself I smiled and told them they were reminding me how busy I let myself become and that I hadn’t eaten all day. Sheepishly, they laughed and stared at their phone for a second before looking up and asking me if I knew where the food vendors were and proceeded to ask me about myself. Now, I’m not the typical person at this executive straight laced event, and they take notice asking me how I would come to be at an event with so much.....circumstance. Anywho, as we continued our convo he smiles and orders me a drink and proceeds to tell me about his dreams as a kid coming from Germany and how aviation was simply a no brainer since his family was in it for ages....as the night went on he walked over to me again ordering me another round and shakes my hand firmly. Right before he walks away he says “if you’ve got the balls to not give a crap that you stick out here, it’s because you know you belong here. Maybe I too stop giving a crap what others think about me” 🍻. Who knows what’ll happen to my new friend from #germany but was kinda cool to be a catalyst to a total stranger #cheers #bitchachos and remember #fcuknormal #spreadagoodvibe
