Heyo! Can I get some trans woman Reinhardt headcanons please :3?

All these trans asks are so valid (and if y’all find any issues with my trans headcanons, pls let me know. Cause while I draw from my experiences with gender, I’m not trans so let me know if I do anything poorly/insensitive. I’m also kinda done with sad lgbtqia+ headcanons so none of these will be really sad unless specifically asked for)

During the time she serve under Friege, she’s too busy to even begin thinking about herself in ways that don’t deal with how she can serve the empire.

She definitely is inspired by Ishtar; she takes Ishtar’s ideals of duty over self and amplifies it

Whenever she first has doubts about her gender, she ignores it in favor of the upcoming battles and her training

By the time she fights the Liberation Army, she has an inkling of being a trans woman, but the thought doesn’t fully hit her, still identifying as a cis man

It isn’t until she’s brought to Askr where her responsibilities are much smaller compared to being the leader of the Gelben Ritter.

She still is very busy at Askr, her strength in magic being a necessity to several teams

It isn’t until Ishtar is summoned that her thoughts really come back full force

She realizes that she models herself after Ishtar in terms of ideals and personality and soon that idea solidifies to her that she doesn’t identify as a man

She’s very much a person who follows social conduct, and the idea of going against that unnerves her

Olwen is the one who notices a difference and confronts her

Olwen is very different in thought, doing what she feels is right to her rather than what’s expected in her

Eventually Olwen is told and while Olwen doesn’t 100% understand, she helps her older sister

With help from her younger sister, she’s more comfortable with transitioning 

No one gives her any trouble; all knowing that her magic has saved them countless times and it’ll continue to save them

Being able to transition lets her feel much more at ease and whole than she was before
